Brisbane City Council will convene its regular weekly standing committee and ordinary meetings this Tuesday, 10 February 2026, at Brisbane City Hall. Members of the public are permitted to attend these sessions in the gallery. The schedule for the day is as follows:

Public Health Advisory: Measles Alert
Queensland Health has maintained a public health alert for North Brisbane following recent confirmed cases of measles. Residents are urged to monitor for symptoms, which include fever, lethargy, a runny nose, and a persistent cough, followed by a red blotchy rash. Authorities recommend that individuals born during or after 1966 ensure they have received two doses of the MMR vaccine. If symptoms develop, please contact a GP or 13 HEALTH via telephone before visiting a clinic to prevent further transmission.
Park Maintenance and Facility Closures
Several local parks are undergoing essential upgrades and maintenance. The following facilities remain closed or partially restricted this Tuesday:
- Ashgrove: Sunset Park remains a construction zone for electrical compound works through late March.
- Bardon: The basketball court at Fletcher Parade Park is closed for refurbishment and the installation of new equipment.
- Inala: The playground at Bill Key Lock Place Park is partially closed for the installation of a new swing set.
- Kalinga: Cricket nets at Melrose Park are closed for fencing and turf upgrades.
- Toowong: Work areas at Perrin Park are restricted due to the ongoing installation of a new scooter track.
Road and Maritime Notices
Motorists should anticipate delays and changed traffic conditions on major arterials due to planned temporary road occupancies. New work zones have commenced this week on sections of Sandgate Road and Ipswich Road. Please follow all posted signage and reduced speed limits in these areas.
Additionally, a maritime notice remains in effect for the Kedron Brook Floodway in Moreton Bay. Navigation aids in this area have been altered in position; mariners are advised to navigate with caution and refer to updated ENC cells.
