Public Notice: Brisbane City Council and Service Roundup for 25 March 2026

Official Notice: Infrastructure and Traffic Impacts
Brisbane City Council and state transport authorities have issued several traffic notices active for Wednesday, 25 March 2026. Residents and commuters are advised of the following changes to road conditions:
- Logan Motorway (Ellen Grove): The eastbound on-ramp from Boundary Road and Skepper Street remains closed for planned roadworks. This closure is active nightly from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am through 27 March.
- Gateway Motorway (Murarrie): Intermittent lane closures are scheduled on the northbound off-ramp to Wynnum Road. These works occur between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am to minimize peak-hour disruption.
- Annerley (Ipswich Road): Ongoing utility and road maintenance works are scheduled for completion today, 25 March. Motorists should expect minor delays and potential lane shifts in the vicinity.
- Archerfield/Moorooka (Beatty Road & Kerry Road): Major roadwork projects at the intersection of Beatty Road, Kerry Road, and Brecknock Street are entering their final phase today. A shuttle flow traffic arrangement is in place to manage vehicle movement.
Park Maintenance and Facility Closures
To ensure public safety during essential upgrades and maintenance, the following park facilities are currently restricted:
- The Lake Parklands, Forest Lake: The picnic area is closed for comprehensive facility upgrades. This area is expected to remain inaccessible to the public until 26 March 2026.
- Bulimba Memorial Park: The playground remains closed for the installation of new shade structures and equipment upgrades. Completion is anticipated by mid-April.
- Wills Street Park, Coorparoo: Renovation of the playground area is ongoing. Construction of a new play fort and specialized safety surfacing is underway, with the area closed until late April.
- Redhead Street Park, Doolandella: Construction continues on new picnic shelters and water facilities. Work sites are fenced off, but the remainder of the park remains open.
Public Service and Legal Announcements
Public service notifications for the Brisbane metropolitan area include updates to judicial proceedings and municipal services:
- Queensland Courts Notice: The third edition of the Equal Treatment Benchbook will be officially launched today at 5:30 pm in the Banco Court at the Queen Elizabeth II Courts of Law. The event is open to legal practitioners and members of the public.
- Jury Service: Jurors assigned to Panel D (numbers 184 through 296) are required to attend the Brisbane Supreme and District Courts at 9:15 am sharp this morning.
- Pay-By-App Parking: Residents are reminded that the PayStay parking application is now fully operational across Brisbane. This service provides an additional digital payment option alongside existing meters and apps for on-street parking.
